Integrated Grit Washing Unit - High-Performance Sand Washing & Dewatering Plant

Integrated Grit Washing Unit (RoSF4 Equivalent)

Separation, Washing, and Dewatering in One Compact System.

The Industry Challenge

Simple grit separators often discharge “dirty grit” contaminated with organic sludge. This leads to foul odors, vector attraction (flies), and high disposal fees because you are paying to landfill water and rotting organics, not just sand.

The Feiran EP Solution

Our Integrated Grit Washing Unit combines a sedimentation tank, a washing agitator, and a screw conveyor. The result is clean, dry, and odor-free sand (organic content <3%) that meets strict environmental disposal standards.

Performance Specs Feiran EP Standard
Organic Content < 3% (High Performance)
Sand Capture Rate ≥ 95% (particle size 0.20 – 0.25 mm)
Solids Throughput Up to 3.0 tons/hour
Material ConstructionPassivated SUS304 / SUS316L
Q1: What is the difference between a Grit Classifier and a Grit Washer?
  • A: A classifier only separates sand from water. A Grit Washer (like this unit) actively agitates and washes the sand to remove organic coatings, producing a much cleaner and drier output suitable for strict environmental regulations.

  • A: Yes. By removing 97%+ of the organic matter (which causes the rot), the discharged grit is virtually odorless, improving the working environment for plant operators.

  • A: Yes, it is the perfect companion for our Vortex Grit Removal System. The grit slurry is pumped directly into this unit for final polishing.
